Mrs. Maxine Parcel Neas
North Augusta, SC—Funeral Services for Mrs. Maxine Parcel Neas, 90, of Bentley Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest July 26, 2010, will be conducted Saturday morning at 10:30 from the Greensburg First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, Kansas. Interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Nease was a native of Coldwater, Kansas, a former resident of Greensburg, Kansas, having made North Augusta her home for the past 3 years. Mrs. Neas moved to North Augusta after surviving a major tornado in Greenburg, Kansas. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Mrs. Neas was the daughter of the late Melvin and Lucy Parcel, wife of the late Mr. Eugene Neas and sister of the late Daniel Parcel.
Survivors include a son, Jerry K. Sweeney, Brookings, SD; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mae Parcel, North Augusta; two nieces, Deanna Blake and Donna Johnson; a nephew, Daniel Parcel; three grandchildren, Matthew Sweeney, Whitney Sweeney, Jennifer Hatt; two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 9 until the hour of the service.
