Obituary:
North Augusta, SC—Memorial Services for Mr. John William Zumwinkle, 55, of Plaza Place, who entered into rest July 26, 2010, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock from Posey Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private.
Mr. Zumwinkle was native of Chicago Heights, Illinois, a former resident of Baltimore, Maryland, having made North Augusta his home for the past 19 years. He was employed at Kroger in North Augusta and was the care-giver for his mother, Mrs. Vera J. Zumwinkle, during her last years.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ed Ryan, Columbia, SC; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins both in North Augusta and in Minnesota.
In his honor memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Care of Eleanor Bookstaver, 1003 Hammond Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
